Busy Busy Busy
Song Of The Day: Don't Take The Girl by Tim Mcgraw
so this week has come and gone so fast. Monday was Elisha and James' first day of middle school. They used to be the big shots at their elementary school but now they are small fish again. Elisha said that all the bigger kids were all saying "look how cute the sixth graders are" but over all they have been having a good time. Elisha's birthday was on Tuesday but we had already had her party the Sunday before. So we just had a mini party of out own. I cant believe she is twelve. she already acts like a teenager. Rachel on the other hand started fifth grade on Wednesday. She and her friends are like the big kids in the school now. but not for long before we know it this year will be over. She enjoyed school I think more than the other two. Thursday and Friday were spent running around like mad chickens with our heads cut off getting the house spotless so the land lord can show it. It turns out that after two days spent stressing out to get it clean in time, the land lord didn't even show up. My mom looked like she was going to blow her top when she found out i don't blame her. we worked our butts off and got stood up. i almost flipped out herself. We both practically passed out from exhaustion after we found out. our muscles were soar and we were like the walking dead we were so tired. And today, James had an event for his Big Brothers and Big Sisters. His big brother is so nice and funny. he is good for James i think. And its all going to start over again on Monday

Comming Up
Song Of The Day: If I Die Young by The Band Perry
This is the last week the kids have of summer. But as I count down the days i cant help savor the last few days of sleeping in late or at least trying to. It seems like every morning I'm woken up by what sounds like elephants tap dancing on my ceiling since i sleep in the basement. But the kids all go back to school this Monday so soon the house will be quite. Two of them are starting middle school and they are so nervous. i tell them there is nothing to be worried about its not that different. the big changes come when you go into high school. i hope they find a group of friends to hang out with. especially my sister Elisha who seems to have a harder time. Her birthday is on Tuesday (the second day of school) so maybe that will help. shes going to be 12! so happy for her. She says she wants a Justin bieber birthday party because she is his hugest fan. we shall see how well that turns out.

About Me
Song Of The Day: Someday by Nickleback
I'm a nineteen year old visually impaired girl living with something called Septo Optic Dysplasia (S.O.D.) For me it means that my pituitary gland (the part of your brain that controls the body's hormones) is underdeveloped witch means that my body doesn't produce vital hormones of any kind. I have to take replacement hormones adrenalen, thyroid, growth hormone etc every day. With S.O.D. also comes Optic Nerve Hypoplasia (O.N.H.) witch means that my optic nerves (the nerves that send the things you see from your eyes to your brain) are underdeveloped witch makes me visually impaired.
My sister is eleven and she has S.O.D. too witch is rare. Last I checked there were only five other families in the world with two kids with S.O.D. She too has O.N.H. so she is also visually impaired (less than me) She has a cleft (a small indent) on the right side of her brain witch makes the left side of her body weaker. This is called Cerebral Palse (C.P.)
